  • A brother and sister go to the park in search of a lost jumprope and find a bunch of foxes using it. The games that follow turn out to be a wish come true for one of the young foxes.

  • Tie in to books about fantastical things happening, imaginary events. Making wishes.

  • The retro stylized art was fun in this book. The children reminded me of 60's era dolls. I liked the use of typography though out to emphasize important bits of text, and sounds. There wasn't much of a "point" to this story, other than depicting a idyllic childhood afternoon, which is totally okay in my mind, but teachers may gloss over it for class room use.
