A brother and sister go to the park in search of a lost jumprope and find a bunch of foxes using it. The games that follow turn out to be a wish come true for one of the young foxes.
Tie in to books about fantastical things happening, imaginary events. Making wishes.
The retro stylized art was fun in this book. The children reminded me of 60's era dolls. I liked the use of typography though out to emphasize important bits of text, and sounds. There wasn't much of a "point" to this story, other than depicting a idyllic childhood afternoon, which is totally okay in my mind, but teachers may gloss over it for class room use.
