The light in this book is absolutely MAGICAL! I would like to have the first full spread in a print framed for my bed room - with the dog stretching on the bed and full sunshine pouring in the window! I liked the refrain of "best day ever" and how it morphs and goes down hill as things go wrong, then like a musical sforzando (a sudden or marked emphasis) ends on a puppy-happy BEST DAY EVER. Gosh I miss the pups!
