Gardens - Kindness
I love the color palette of this book - Lala's yellow against the greys of the city - echoing her encourageing words for her plants against her mothers exasperated words. I love that she doesn't get discouraged or beat down, but that her kindness grows. The sunshiny spread when her mother speaks life-words over her and sends her out to play is wonderful.
