Steptoe has made some absolutely exquisite paper and found object collage illustrations. I love how he crinkles and folds the paper to look like the actual crinkles and folds of clothing. And its really cool to see twine jump rope and lots of other realistic textures throughout. I liked the inclusion of some classic jumprope rhymes in the text - it might keep them alive in the minds of kids!
