A good book for a family who is waiting on a baby.
The thing that strikes me the most about this book (that speaks to my soul as I've been the Big Sister taking the lap baby to be a knee baby) is the wonderful voice of the grandmother that English writes so so well. Its not contrived or over exaggerated, it just feels REAL. I love the cool tones of the paint and crayon illustrations as well.
