This is a fun combo of cartoon art over photographs - which I'm gathering from the notes in the back are from Willem's actual neighborhood? The progression of Trixie's breakdown in trying to communicate that Knuffle bunny is lost KILLS ME everytime. The little "snurp" before completely loosing it, and going boneless is so true to life for a toddler. And then Mommy knowing EXACTLY what's wrong as soon as they get home. Its no wonder this book as a family favorite!
