HOW DARE THIS BOOK. I'm trying to look past the "dog story tugging on my heartstrings" This story really showed the deep love and connection we have to our pets - and that yearning for a dog that some kids have. I really liked the minimalistic art with lovely flat colors. I'm glad it ended somewhat happily - though it was a little sad still!
